Review: Wicca Moon Subscription Box
I had seen a few adverts around social media for witchcraft/pagan subscription boxes, some themed to the sabbats, others general monthly boxes. I was intrigued, because who doesn't like getting nice witchy presents through the post?
I decided to order a selection to compare and share my findings and thoughts with you. They are all UK based (although most of them do ship worldwide), I did look at USA based subscriptions (and there are some really brilliant looking ones to try) but unfortunately the cost of shipping was almost as much as the box.
I will be posting a review each week for the next few weeks, in no particular order of favouritism. I don't like writing bad reviews as such, but for something like this I am just presenting to you all the information, you can make your choice from there.
Wicca Moon have a shop that sells subscription boxes and all kinds of witchcraft supplies. The subscription boxes focus on the sabbats, the one I received was for Lammas/Lughnasadh. It was by far the most expensive of all the boxes I ordered, double the price of most of them.
Subscription box price: £45.99 PLUS postage of £4.80 so in total £50.79
Ordered on: 27th July 2018 and it arrived on 30th July, so very speedy delivery.
Sparkly sequined altar cloth (measures 34cm x 50cm)
2 pages of Lughnasadh information
A Lammas ritual script
A large bottle of Five Finger Grass Oil
Small bunch of dried lavender and wheat
Lammas incense herb blend
3 tumble stone aventurine crystals in a yellow organza bag
A ceramic pentacle candle holder
A large orange taper candle
Two large candles, one brown, one yellow
All the items were of very good quality.
The box smelt lovely when you opened it!
The items were all included in the Lammas ritual supplied.
My personal opinion is that it was expensive for what you received, particularly as I have seen the contents from other subscription boxes that are a lot cheaper.
My favourite item from the box: The ceramic candle holder is very pretty.
