Review: The Witch's Heart Subscription Box
I had seen a few adverts around social media for witchcraft/pagan subscription boxes, some themed to the sabbats, others general monthly boxes. I was intrigued, because who doesn't like getting nice witchy presents through the post?
I decided to order a selection to compare and share my findings and thoughts with you. They are all UK based (although most of them do ship worldwide), I did look at USA based subscriptions (and there are some really brilliant looking ones to try) but unfortunately the cost of shipping was almost as much as the box.
I will be posting a review each week for the next few weeks, in no particular order of favouritism. I don't like writing bad reviews as such, but for something like this I am just presenting to you all the information, you can make your choice from there.
The Witch's Heart
The Witch's Heart has an online store supplying a variety of witchcraft items along with offering monthly subscription boxes. Each box has a theme, the one I received was 'Wicca'.
Witch's Heart Box - Subscription box price: £20.50 - this price includes delivery
Ordered on: 2nd October 2018 and it arrived on 17th October.
Information sheet listing items and giving details on how to use each one
Hand crafted holly wand
Small god and goddess bottles
Samhain anointing oil
Gold taper candle
Silver taper candle
Copy of the Wiccan rede
This box carries a decent price tag (£20.50 inc p&p) but I am not sure it is a great bargain deal? However the hand crafted items are a nice touch. The taper candles are a decent size but are only dipped in gold and silver with a white candle underneath. Good details with everything and how to use them. The little bottles are sweet, filled with a mix of herbs and glitter. The anointing oil smells nice. Decent items in general, although I must have had a million copies of the Wiccan Rede over the years! If you are tight on budget and looking for a more hand crafted touch then this might be the one for you.
