The very nice people at Simon and Schuster sent me some books to review, this is the first one:
The Modern Witchcraft Guide to the Wheel of the Year by Judy Ann Nock.
It is a guide to the Wiccan holidays, although I don't necessarily follow the sabbats personally as such (nor am I Wiccan), it is an interesting guide.
For anyone new to the Wiccan journey it will provide a very good read and some really useful information.
There are myths, history, celestial events, meditations, ritual ideas and practical crafts for each sabbat.
The book itself is a lovely hardback cover with a design that makes it look like an old antique leather bound tome.
Coming in at 226 pages it is a decent sized book too.
