Pie crust filled with a squidgy chocolate brownie filling - yum!
A 9" pastry tart shell (homemade or store bought)
110g/3.9 oz dark chocolate, chopped
113g/4 oz butter
230g/8.1 oz sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
120g/4.2 oz plain/all purpose flour
Pre heat your oven to 350F/180C/Gas 4.
Pop your pie tart into the oven and bake for 15 mins just to get some colour on it.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
Melt the chocolate and butter together either in the microwave or in a bowl over a pan of simmering water. Stir frequently.
Mix in the sugar and allow to cool for a couple of minutes.
Whisk in the eggs and vanilla, then stir in the flour and salt until combined.
Pour into the pastry shell adn bake for 40 minutes.
