What a wonderful book! "Curative Magic" meets every expectation that I have come to find in Rachel Patterson's books. This book is full of wonderful resources for those who follow the Craft or even those who simply are looking to turn to nature for assistance in their lives. This book offers basic background knowledge in the first part. The second part of the book is a series of chapters, each on another specific condition, such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, lack of sleep, among many others. Each chapter has a description of foods to help with the condition, recipes for for the kitchen, spells, rituals, meditations, and so much more! The third part of the book feels like a bonus section, where Rachel offers suggestions for body & bath, animal magic, deity related to health, using the moon, elements, and seasons, among many others. As always, Patterson explains things in a very easy-to-understand manner that also conveys her message in a very friendly, approachable way. This truly is a book that you need in your library as a resource for your own self-care.
