Review: Crystal Club Subscription Box

I had seen a few adverts around social media for witchcraft/pagan subscription boxes, some themed to the sabbats, others general monthly boxes. I was intrigued, because who doesn't like getting nice witchy presents through the post?

I decided to order a selection to compare and share my findings and thoughts with you. They are all UK based (although most of them do ship worldwide), I did look at USA based subscriptions (and there are some really brilliant looking ones to try) but unfortunately the cost of shipping was almost as much as the box.

I will be posting a review each week for the next few weeks, in no particular order of favouritism. I don't like writing bad reviews as such, but for something like this I am just presenting to you all the information, you can make your choice from there.

The Crystal Club

Although not technically 'witchy/pagan' I thought I would have a look at a more crystal inspired box - The Crystal Club offers a monthly subscription or a one off box.

The Crystal Box - Subscription box price: £9.99 plus postage coming to a total of £13.99

Ordered on: 28th August 2018 and it arrived on 28th September

Contents:

Small smudge stick (looks like rosemary)

3 incense cones (no idea of scent)

Tealight

Snowflake obsidian tumblestone & small info card

Moonstone tumble stone & small info card

Snow quartz tumblestone & small info card

3 unidentifable waxy bits? Could be tiny wax melts?

A tassle with small crystal beads

3 small crystal beads (assume they are the same as the tumblestones) on a short piece of cord

Overall thoughts:

3 decent size tumble stones with info cards, although they were all in the box together and you have to guess which card matches which stone.

Incense cones are not labelled so I didn't know what scent they are.

A small bag with 3 unidentified waxy things in, no idea what they are, could be tiny wax melts?

A beaded tassle, not sure what it is for?

Three small beads on a piece of short cord, I assume the beads correspond to the tumble stones, not sure why they are on the cord, could be a bracelet but it isn't tied and the cord is way too short to tie around your wrist properly.

OK contents (perhaps better if I knew what they all were), not overly convinced it was value for money, but a definite lack of information about each item. No card even identifying who it came from, could have done with a printed out list of contents.
