Chocolate chips and coloured sprinkles together in a blondie - totally lush!
225g/8 oz butter, softened
225g/8 oz sugar
175g/6 oz light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Pinch salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
375g/13 oz plain/all purpose flour
65g/1.2 oz rainbow spinkles
150g/5.3 oz chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350F/180C/Gas 4.
Grease and line a 9x13” baking tin with parchment paper.
Beat the butter until soft and fluffy, add in both sugars and whisk together until light and fluffy.
Mix in the eggs and vanilla along with the salt, baking powder and the flour.
Mix until the batter is smooth.
Add in the sprinkles and mix until well distributed.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Press the batter into the prepared baking tin, spread evenly.
Bake for 25 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
Cool and then slice.
