Chocolate cake and chocolate chips all together in one easy tray bake.
190ml/6.4 fl oz vegetable oil
250g/8.8 oz plain/all purpose flour
80g/2.8 oz cocoa powder
3 teaspoons baking powder
300g/10.6 oz soft light brown sugar
350ml/ 11.8 fl oz milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 large eggs
100g/3.5 oz chocolate chips
Top - 100g chocolate, melted
Preheat your oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
Grease and line with baking parchment, a 33x23cm baking tin.
Mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl whisk together the oil, milk, vanilla extract and eggs. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry along with the chocolate chips.
Stir to combine.
Pour into the prepared tin and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Leave to cool in the tin.
Melt 100g chocolate and drizzle over the top of the cooled cake.
