As I have a fabulous selection of wild flower seeds from the wonderful online shop The Witches Cottage, I thought I would do a little seed planting experiment.
I have eight different types of seed and have planted a tray with a mixture of them. They are now in a sunny windowsill.
I have planted:
Meadowsweet - filipendula ulmaria
Pale Flax - linum beinne
Goat's Rue - galegra officinalis
Vervain - verbena officinalis
Wormwood - Artemisia absinthium
Musk Mallow - malvia moshata
Tansy - chrysanthemum vulgare
Mandrake - mandragora officinarum
I have grown some of these before in wild flower seed mixes and I have attempted mandrake once before (unsuccessfully) so it will be interesting to see how these get on.
