Labradorite
Labradorite (always makes me think of a happy dog…) although the name apparently has nothing to do with Labrador dogs but comes from the place it was first discovered which was Labrador in Canada. It is part of the feldspar group of minerals, those that are aluminium silicates containing potassium, sodium and/or calcium. Feldspar minerals are the most abundant group of mineral stones. Labradorite is often associated with moonstone, the structure being similar with moonstone being the lighter energy and labradorite carrying the darker. By that I don’t mean good and evil, labradorite just seems to work with more inner energy, think Crone magic.
