Garnet
Carried by warriors for thousands of years the garnet has long been believed to bring protection against injury and even death. A stone of victory but also one that sweeps in with peace and healing. Garnet comes with its own built in anti-theft device, if given to you as a gift or purchased it will grant you the good stuff in life, but if you steal it then be prepared to suffer the consequences. Garnet is from the Latin word ‘granatus’ which may be a reference to the malum garanatum or pomegranate. Garnet is not just one mineral but a group of related minerals, they come in all sorts of colours but the most well known is the dark red garnet.
