When a forum morphs into a group...

Big changes over at Kitchen Witch Online School of Witchcraft, well for the forum at least.
Our website host has decided to remove the forum function from our website; this will cease to function mid-October.
What this has prompted, is for us old crones to move into modern times and embrace the idea of groups rather than a forum.
Yes, it has made our heads explode.
After much tinkering behind the scenes, plenty of caramel lattes and a few expletives (obviously along the lines of gosh and darn it, it's me we are talking about), the new groups section is up and running.
Moving forward, all new students will sign straight into the groups part of the website, having not even a hint of a forum.
For our very lovely current students, it will be a bit of a change. The forum will no longer exist; in its place is a new group section.
There are NO branch lessons listed on the new group set up. Branch classes are now incorporated into the lessons, and you will be sent these via email by your mentor at the appropriate time. There are a few exceptions - tarot, runes, witch runes and ogham branch classes will be available outside of the lesson homework. These can be sent via email on request from your mentor.
The Grimoire section of the forum is also no longer in existence. All of the Grimoire was populated from our KW blog and YT, and my own blog and YT. Links to the relevant sections are now given at the end of each lesson PDF. Links are also provided in the KWS Resources group.
Online journals have also drifted off into the night...these were very underutilised, so we made the big decision to do away with them. There is, however, a private student-only chat group - KWS Hearth for students to introduce themselves, post general witchy thoughts or information.
We also have a public section that includes the newsletter and Pagan Portal Podcast archive, along with a public community chat group - Kitchen Witch Hub.
A while back, we also set up a KW Patreon and Witches Hearth; both of these have been discontinued. The posts we made for those will now be posted in the public Kitchen Witch Hub group.
If any students have problems logging in, please email me.
If anyone would like to be included in the public groups and has issues, please email me.
