Witchcraft: Daily Practice - Day 27
Household Magic
A subject all in itself (and yes, I am writing a book about it!), household magic can easily be used to format, inspire or prompt a daily magical practice. Think about all the household rituals and regular patterns you do on a daily basis, then see how you can put some magic into them.
Prompt:
· Charge your shower gel, soap and/or shampoo with positive energy before you use it.
· Create a ‘start the day with magic’ chant to sing whilst you are in the shower. Something along the lines of “water now cleanse negativity, bring in the positive as you shower me, magic made, magic best fill my day now I am blessed”.
· Charge your clothes with positive energy as you dress.
· Charge your face creams and makeup with magical intent.
· Charge your toothpaste with the intent of clarity of speech and conversation.
· Use essential oil blends or perfume and anoint yourself with the intent of magical purpose.
· Open the windows and let the positive energy in.
· Step outside and connect with the energy of the day.
· Greet the sun and draw in solar energy.
· Be mindful of what your breakfast ingredients are and what magical properties they hold.
· Set your screen saver, desktop or phone screen as a vision board with goals and wishes.
· Set your ringtone to a magical tune.
· As you do the housework, make it magical by adding in essential oils, washes and working with chants.
· For each beverage you make throughout the day, connect with the ingredients to find their magical properties and charge them with intent.
· Do the same for the ingredients you use in your meals.
· Check each room in the house to make sure the energies feel OK. If they do not, then work with a spiritual cleanse.
· Bring fresh flowers into the home and charge them with positive energy.
· Before you retire to bed, do not forget to send gratitude to the moon.
