Witchcraft: Daily Practice - Day 30

Sun Magic

Let us not forget solar magic; it is just as powerful as the moon and much quicker to work with, as you get all the phases in one day rather than over a month. The power of the sun is very different to the moon's energy. You can work all the same magic on the solar phases that you can with the moon, but it brings a different vibe with it.

Prompt:

·         If you have never noted down the sun phases and the energy, give it a try; it only takes a day! Go outside (or sit by an open window) at different points during the day and note what type of energy you feel when you connect with the sun.

·         Try working magic at the different points of the day and see how the energy affects your workings.

·         Create a set of solar magic correspondences for each phase.

·         Feel the sun on your skin (please never look directly at the sun) and allow that energy to flow through your body, revitalising and re-fuelling you.

·         Connect with the power of the sun first thing in the morning and ask for strength for the day.

·         Research sun deities and see if any of them resonate with you.

·         Set up an altar dedicated to the sun.

·         Create a set of solar magic spells.
